In Andhra Pradesh, polling went off peacefully today for Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly by-election. Over 70 percent polling was recorded in Kadapa Lok Sabha Constituency while more than 78 percent voting was recorded in Pulivendula till 5PM. The Poll percentage may go up further as several voters who had qued up cast their votes after 5.pm. State Chief Electoral officer Bhanwarlal told media in Hyderabad that no poll-related incidents were reported from anywhere in the constituency due to the precautionary measures taken by poll authorities.
