In Andhra Pradesh, 65 per percent votes were cast in the bye-polls to Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency till 4.00 pm, while 60 per cent voting was recorded at Pulivendula Assembly Constituency. Heavy turn out of voters has been reported since the polling began at 8' O Clock this morning. Serpentine ques of voters line up since 6 in the morning. Polling has been peaceful, State Chief Electoral officer Bhanwarlal told AIR Hyderabad Correspondent that no untoward incident has been reported so far. For the first time, webcasting of poll process inside the polling centres was done from 1169 sensitive and hyper sensitive polling stations which was watched by the central Observers, law enforcing authorities and the public from outside. 11,100 central and state police personnel besides mobile parties and striking forces were deployed to ensure peaceful poll in the Sensitive Kadapa Lok Sabha seat.
