<span style="color: #222222;">Arunachal Pradesh State Home Minister Bamang Felix flagged of Five Anti-Riot police vehicle, also known as Vajra, from Police Headquarter in Itanagar today. This is the first set of anti-riot vehicles introduced in the state police department. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">These vehicles come with special features for quick response, automatic multi-barrel launchers for tear gas, with a capacity of 12 persons and a battery backup for long hours stuck in the rioting crowd. <br />'' <br />'' After the flagging off of the anti-riot vehicles, speaking to media persons Mr. Felix said that the initiative is a step towards the total modernization of the state Police department. He informed that of the five Vajra flagged off today, two will be deployed in the Capitol Complex and one each will be routed towards Yupia, Pasighat and Bomdila. <br />'' <br />'' State's Director-General of Police RP Upadhyaya informed that Vajra is a protected vehicle used by the police forces during riots and civil unrest.</span><br />
