Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at his residence in New Delhi today to discuss the Telengana issue.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is also expected to meet the Prime Minister later today to discuss the issue. Yesterday, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee held a high level meeting to discuss the issue.

Home Minister P Chidambaram, Defence Minister A K Anthony and Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is the Congress General Secretary In-charge of the state, attended the meet. Mr Mukherjee also held separate meetings with the Prime Minister, and Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He had said that discussions will continue and more time is needed to resolve the issue.
