In Andhra Pradesh, the state Government on Monday resumed talks with the leaders of employees unions to pursue them to end their ongoing General Strike. Demanding separate Telangana state, the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee has been on General Strike for the past 42 days.The Cabinet sub- committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister Rajanarasimha held talks with the leaders of Telangana Employees JAC on Monday evening.Speaking to reporters later, State Finance Minister Ramanarayan Reddy said, the talks have been held in a positive atmosphere. The talks have been resumed between the two sides following Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad's appeal to the employees on Sunday to call off the stir to avoid inconvenience to the people during the upcoming festival season.The employees are also scheduled to meet Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to continue talks later on Monday evening.
