<span style="color: #222222;">A Detailed Project Report, DPR, of Eastern Bypass to Vijayawada City on 40KM NH-16 including a major bridge on Krishna river has been taken up. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said Andhra Pradesh Government has consent for the Centre's proposal to handover the vacant Government land by the side of the proposed bypass, free of cost to National Highways Authority of India, NHAI, for development of Multi Modal Logistic Park. Similarly, he said, a DPR for a six-lane National Highway from Visakhapatnam Port to Bhogapuram via Rushikonda and Bheemili was also taken up. He also said, Work of preparation of DPR for the stretch from the Container Terminal to NH-16 at Bhogapuram via Rushikonda & Bheemili has been taken up.</span><br />
