AP Govt. decides to set' in up special Court Satyam scam case

Andhra Pradesh government has decided to set up a special court headed by an additional chief metropolitan magistrate to exclusively deal the multi-crore rupees Satyam scam case involving B. Ramalinga Raju and others. The state Cabinet has taken this decision at a meeting on Thursday following a request from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and High Court's recommendation in view of voluminous nature of documents and material objects. The CBI had already filed a charge sheet to the 14th additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court that ran into 65,000 pages and cited over 430 witnesses, 1,500 documents, 60 material objects. At present, the case is being tried at the 14th additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court in Hyderabad.<br/>
