AP Govt appeals striking Telangana employees to withdraw their indefinite strike

The Andhra Pradesh government has once again appealed to the striking employees in the Telangana region to withdraw their indefinite strike on statehood issue. It urged the employees to join back the duties. Chief Minister Mr. N.Kiran Kumar reddy today held a review meeting on the impact of the strike that entered second day today. State Labour Minister Mr. D. Nagender said the welfare and development programmes are being affected due to the ongoing agitation.The employees boycotted duties and held dharnas and sit-in demonstrations at several places in Telengana region as part of the ‘general strike’.
