Andhra Pradesh government today announced a 50 lakh rupee cash incentive to Indian shooter Gagan Narang for winning a bronze medal in the 10 metre air rifle event in London Olympics.A release from the Chief Minister's Office said that the state government has so far given cash incentives tothe tune of 191.50 lakh rupees to Narang for winning medals invarious international sporting events including the Asian Games (2010) and Commonwealth Games (2010). Gagan's father B S Narang met Chief Minister N KiranKumar Reddy in Hyderabad today and the Chief Minister congratulated him over his son's Olympics achievement.
