Andhra Pradesh State Government has reconstituted the six-member Group of Ministers to monitor and take steps to control Malaria in Tribal Areas and H1-N1 in the state.The State Chief Secretary Mini Mathew today issued a Government Order to this effect. The GoM will monitor the status of Malaria in Tribal Areas and Swine Flue in the state. It will review the steps taken to control the diseases so far and suggest further steps to bring them under control.The GoM has been reconstituted following recent reports of Swine Flue cases and growing Malaria instances especially in tribal areas of the state.The Group of Ministers comprises Medical Education, Health and Family Welfare, Panchayatraj, Urban Development, Tribal Welfare and Women Development and Child Welfare Ministers as members.The Principle Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare will be the convener of the GoM.
