The flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh is grim with the reports of landslides, flash flood and washing away of roads are pouring in from almost all the districts. Traffic movement along the National Highway 52-A connecting the State Capital Itanagar via Banderdewa remained cut off for the second day due to washing away of a major portion of the road near Karsingsa sinking zone. The Capital City Administration has diverted the traffic through Naharlagun-Doimukh-Gumto route till the restoration of the road.
