Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Jupalle Krishna Rao has submitted his resignation to Congress Party High Command today demanding introduction of bill during Budget session over statehood for Telangana. He faxed the resignation letter to Congress High Command this morning. Speaking to media a short while ago, he said he has sent his resignation letter in due format to mount pressure on central government. Stating that the students of Telangana region have laid their future at stack and MLAs are not attending the Assembly sessions, the minister said the high command should either commit to its December 9th statement or accept his resignation. He further said some ‘seemandhra’ leaders are obstructing the process of formation of separate state.
