In Andhra Pradesh, emergency medical services continued to be hit at the Government teaching hospitals with Junior Doctors continuing agitation. The state Government is making alternate arrangements. About 600 medical officers and non-specialist staff have been pressed into service to provide emergency medical services at different teaching hospitals. Earlier, the talks between state government and junior doctors failed last evening. The Government has also directed concerned District Collectors to ensure medical services at those hospitals. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had a meeting with a Group of Ministers on the alternate arrangements.
