In Andhra Pradesh, the Election Commission authorities have sought 139 companies of central forces to ensure free and fair poll during the upcoming bye-elections.Addressing a press conference after reviewing the arrangements with the 12 district authorities going for by-poll in Hyderabad last evening, State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal said the Commission is writing to the Home Ministry to allot central forces. He said it is in addition to the Andhra Pradesh Special Police and State Police forces. Bye-poll is being held on 12th of next month in one Lok Sabha and 18 Assembly constituencies in the state following resignation of the sitting MP and disqualification of sitting MLAs.
