The Kamal Nath Committee has begun consultations in Hyderabad over the sharing of employees between Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh. The high level committee was set up by the Centre to formulate guidelines for division of employees and other related issues.

The committee held primary level consultations with the state Chief Secretary PK Mohanthy and other senior officials of various departments at the state secretariat. The discussions were held mainly over formulating guidelines for sharing of employees and the time frame for the same. The committee is expected to submit its report by the month end.
