AP Congress to meet Seemandhra, Telangana leaders

In Andhra Pradesh, Congress state leadership has convened separate meetings with leaders from Seemandhra and Telangana today. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy held a meeting with the Ministers from Telangana regions this morning. He has reportedly asked them to maintain calm and be careful while issuing public statements in the wake of party decision to form separate Telangana State.

He will hold another meeting with the Ministers and Legislators from Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions later in the day. The meeting gained significance especially when leaders from Seemandhra regions are submitting their resignations supporting the united state.

Meanwhile, supporters of united state are continuing protest demonstrations in the Seemandhra regions against separate Telangana state. Teachers and other professionals like doctors joined agitation while students, employees and lawyers continue to hold protests across the two regions on the fourth consecutive day today.
