In Andhra Pradesh, Congress has invited Praja Rajyam Party for talks to Delhi to strengthen the relations between the two parties. Party senior leader and Union Defence Minister A K Antony told reporters that Congress President Sonia Gandhi has invited PRP president Chiranjeevi for talks to Delhi. Mr. Antony who specially came to Hyderabad this evening has held discussions with the PRP president at his residence for over an hour. Stating that the talks are intended to further strengthen the relations between the two parties, Mr. Antony said he has come as party high command’s envoy to convey her message. Amidst speculation of PRP joining in the Cabinet, PRP spokesperson C Ramachandraiah later said Chiranjeevi would go to Delhi very soon for further discussions and a final decision would be taken only after that.
