The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting today with the Health Department officials to monitor the readiness of PHCs, Village clinics, to handle BF.7 cases, if any. The Chief Minister asked the officials to check the preparedness of all Government hospitals in meeting the BF.7 challenge and this process should be completed by the 5th of January 2023. He also directed private hospitals to get ready for the emerging BF.7 challenge. He added that Village clinics, working under the direct control of PHCs, should take complete responsibility for the village concerned.
