AP CM holds meeting with Sonia to finalise names of cabinet members

The New Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today held meetings with Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and other leaders to finalise the names of his Cabinet members. Reddy arrived in New Delhi this morning on his maiden visit to the capital after assuming office on Thursday and met the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh the Home Minister P Chidambaram and other leaders and sought their cooperation. The State Cabinet is likely to be constituted tomorrow, a day before the Winter Session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly starts. Law Minister Veerappa Moily, who is also in charge of Andhra Pradesh has already announced that the State will have a Deputy Chief Minister from the Telangana region. The Chief Minister has already held one round of discussion on the Cabinet formation with Moily in Hyderabad. AIR correspondent says a number of party leaders are camping in Delhi to seek ministerial berth in the Kiran Kumar government. Jagan Reddy's uncle and late chief minister YSR Reddy’s brother Y S Vivekananda Reddy is also in the capital.Earlier on his arrival Kiran Reddy told reporters that his agenda will be to try to give a clean and transparent government.
