Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy today condemned the criticism launched against Congress Party and its high command by the YSR Congress Party leaders in the wake of Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy’s arrest in his disproportionate assets case. Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad along with his cabinet colleagues, the Chief Minister said the CBI is probing the assets case against the Kadapa MP as per the High Court Directions. He said the state and central Governments have nothing to do with the ongoing probe. Refuting the allegations by Jagnmohan Reddy’s mother and MLA, Vijaya Lakshmi, the Chief Minister asked her not to exploit the death of her Husband Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, which was an accident, for political gains in the bye-elections. He also said clearance to probe IAS officers named in CBI Charge sheet in the assets case is under the process.
