In a landmark decision, Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has approved the 'Chief Minister's Adarsh Gram Yojana – 2017', under which one village in each Assembly constituency will be transformed into a model village. This was informed by Government Spokesperson Bamang Felix in a press conference in Itanagar yesterday. <br/><br/>Under the scheme, a sum of Rs. 1.5 crore shall be earmarked for each identified village for its development. Moreover, emphasis shall also be given in dovetailing all rural development central and state schemes in the village.<br/><br/>The Cabinet has also given its approval for the release of 2% DA, w.e.f January 1 last, for the government employees in the state and creation of 164 posts in various categories in the state police department.
