Andhra Pradesh Assembly has passed a resolution today condemning the controversial films on internet social networking sites. The Assembly has adopted the resolution by voice vote seeking the Central Government to ban such films which are threatening the communal harmony. Reading out the resolution, Speaker N Manohar urged the Centre to enact appropriate laws to prevent such provoking material on social networking sites in future.Meanwhile, the Assembly has been adjourned till Thursday without transacting much business on the second consecutive day today with Telangana Rastra Samithi members disrupting the proceedings seeking a resolution on statehood for Telangana. He adjourned the house for the day when there was no change in the situation even after he reassembled the house after adjourning for a brief period. He announced that there was no consensus on taking up the BAC agenda during a meeting he held with floor leaders when the house adjourned for a brief period.
