AP assembly passes resolution seeking rejection of State re-organization Bill

Andhra Pradesh Assembly has passed a resolution moved by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking rejection of the State re-organization bill by voice vote today.

Amidst pandemonium the House approved the official proposal to reject the bill sent by President under the article 3 of the constitution.

Speaker N. Manohar also said that the Members have proposed 9,072 amendments to the bifurcation bill.

The House debated the bill for 13 days and 87 Members expressed their views over the reorganization bill.
