The Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh, who has returned to New Delhi after attending the Copenhagen summit , has told the US President categorically that India cannot accept any formulation, which was unacceptable to Parliament and against public opinion. He made this point to him, when the US President met with the leaders of the four countries to work out a mutually agreeable document. The leaders made it clear to the US President that sustainable development cannot be brushed aside. Sources told AIR correspondent Sanjay Ghosh, who covered the Prime Minister's trip, that there were concerted attempts by rich nations to divide the developing countries and deviate from the Kyoto protocol.
