<span style="color: black;">Union Information &amp; Broadcasting and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, who is on a two-day visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday inspected Zojila and Z -Morh Tunnel projects.</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;"><br />''On the occasion, the Minister expressed satisfaction on the progress of the works and said that Zojila Tunnel is of a significant importance with regard to national security, development and tourism for J&amp;K and Ladakh Union Territories.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The project site of Zojila tunnel is being constructed at the cost of 4500 crore rupees and is located at the existing national highway (NH-01) starting from Sanamarg in J&amp;K and ending at Minamarg in Ladakh and is the longest tunnel in South Asia.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister&nbsp; Anurag Singh Thakur visited 13.5 kms long Zojila Tunnel and 6.5 kms long Z-Morh Tunnel on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway today. At Zojila Tunnel, he conducted the second blasting in connection with its construction work and said that the Tunnel would go a long way in promoting the Tourism Sector of&nbsp; Ladakh and Jammu &amp; Kashmir Union territories besides ensuring all-weather connectivity. <br />''<br />''Later in the day, he also laid the foundation stone for the development of playfield at Kijpora in Kangan area and inaugurated Bonibagh-Kangan road constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna. Tomorrow, the Minister is scheduled to meet the members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Sectoral Officers of Ganderbal district and will e-inaugurate various playfields of Kashmir from Budgam.</span><br />
