Anurag Thakur was today unanimously elected BCCI President in the Board's Special General Meeting, SGM in Mumbai.<br/><br/>He replaced Shashank Manohar who stepped down from the position to take up the ICC chief's job.<br/><br/>M Thakur, who is a BJP MP in Lok Sabha, had filed his nomination for the post after resigning as BCCI Secretary. <br/><br/>BCCI is currently facing heat from the Supreme Court to implement the Justice RM Lodha Committee's recommendations for sweeping reforms.
