Antigua Test: India bundle out West Indies for 243 runs in 1st innings; Enforce follow on

In the Antigua Test, India tightens its grip, as they bundled out West Indies in the first innings and enforced follow on.In reply to India's 566 for 8 declared, the hosts could only put up 243 runs to give visitors a huge first-innings lead of 323 runs. A dominant Indian side then enforced followed on and at stumps the Caribbean were placed at 21 for 1 in their second innings, staring at a plausible inning defeat. The lone wicket of second innings was taken by Ishant Sharma.Hosts resuming the third day's play at an overnight score of 31 for 1, faced some lethal bowling from the Indian side. Mohammad Shami on return took 4 for 66, Umesh Yadav also toppled the lower order to claim his 4 wickets for 41, while Amit Mishra enjoyed rest of the spoils. For the Caribbeans, Kraigg Brathwaite made 74 as lower order batsman Shane Dowrich remained not out at gritty 57. In the process, wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha equalled the Indian record held by both Farokh Engineer and MS Dhoni of six dismissals in an innings.
