Anti-Terrorism Day observed in Kargil keeping in practice social distancing norms

<span style="color: #222222;">In Kargil Ladakh, like other parts of the country, Anti-Terrorism Day was observed keeping in practice the social distancing norms. To mark the day, people expressed their strong resolve to defeat the evil of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.<br />''<br />''Main function was held in the premises of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office Kargil where several district officers took the Anti-Terrorism Pledge solemnly. Expressing their strong faith in India's tradition of non-violence and tolerance, they exuded their firm commitment to oppose with all strength all forms of terrorism and violence.<br />''<br />''Considering the prevailing situation due to COVID-19 and safety and to avoid large public gatherings, Government employees took the Anti-Terrorism Pledge solemnly in their rooms/offices while strictly adhering to social distancing norms.<br />''<br />''Similar Anti-Terrorism Pledge were taken by the employees of Youth Services and Sports Department Kargil, Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Kargil, Department of Information and Public Relations Kargil and other departments.<br />''<br />''Pledge was expressed by the employees to uphold and promote peace, social harmony, and understanding among all human beings and to fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values.</span>
