In Idinthakarai, Tamil Nadu protesters today stood in sea water in protest against the decision to load enriched uranium into the nuclear reactor of Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant.After a 48 hour fast, the protesters have resorted to standing in sea water to protest against loading of fuel in the nuclear reactor of Koodankulam nuclear power plant. Still there is heavy police bandobust in the area to prevent any untoward incident. After days of protest for the second day today the situation is calm and peaceful. With Atomic energy Regulatory Board giving the go ahead and Supreme Court refusing to stay loading of enriched fuel, it is to be seen how long the protesters can sustain their movement.
