In Egypt, thousands of anti-government protesters continued to occupy Tahrir Square in Cairo defying curfew imposed by the authorities. Egyptian reform campaigner and Nobel Laureate Mohamed El Baradei has joined the protestors seeking ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Reports say widespread anti government protest and violent clashes have left at least 100 people dead in the country since Tuesday. About 2,000 people have been injured. Armed men attacked at least four jails across Egypt on Sunday, helping to free thousands of inmates as police vanished from the streets of Cairo and other cities. Offices, schools, business establishments and stock exchange continued to remained closed in the city. Talking to AIR Dubai Correspondent, Indian Ambassador to Egypt R. Swaminathan said that 300 Indians have been airlifted. The Air India Regional Manager Abhay Pathak told AIR that another 123 TATA employees have also left for India. He informed that another flight will leave Cairo on Monday. AIR Correspondent reports that offices, schools, business establishments and the stock exchange continued to remain close in the city.
