In Thailand, anti-government demonstrators are closing towards the residence of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejajjiva in Bangkok to continue their symbolic blood protest. On the fourth day of a mass rally today, reports say, the red shirts have planned to throw blood donated by thousands of protesters at the Prime ministers residence, to dramatize their demands. They are demanding the dissolution of Abhisit's government terming it as illegitimate. Neither, Mr Abhisit nor his family is at their home in Bangkok. He has been staying at the headquarters of the 11th Infantry Battalion in the city since the protests began. Meanwhile, ten more companies of police and soldiers have been deployed to reinforce the six companies of security officials already deployed at the Prime Minister's residence.
