In Tamil Nadu, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption officials today conducted raids at the residence of former DMK Minister I Periyasamy in Dindigul. DVAC team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Jayakumar raided the houses of the former Revenue Minister and his children. The raids were conducted for allegedly amassing disproportionate wealth. Yesterday, raids were conducted simultaneously in 16 premises of former Agriculture Minister Veerapandi Arumugham.
