<span style="color: #222222;">Assam State BJP President Ranjit Kumar Dass asserted that the anti – CAA movement would not affect the party's poll prospect in the state.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to AIR Guwahati Correspondent,&nbsp;Mr. Dass said that party had shown good results in Panchyat and Lok Sabha polls despite protest by a section of people against the Citizenship Amendment Act, CAA. He said that the BJP led government would never allow any illegal citizens to stay in the state. He said , the BJP led government took measures to prevent infiltration.&nbsp;A section of people and organizations are opposing the implementation of CAA which has provision of granting&nbsp;citizenship to minorities of the neighboring countries including Bangladesh.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Assembly polls in the state to be held next year. Mr. Dass said that people of the state have shown faith in the BJP during recently held&nbsp;BTC and Tiwa Autonomous Council polls.&nbsp;He said that people in Assam are hugely benefited by the welfare measures being taken by the Modi government in Centre and Sarbananda Sonowal government in Assam.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
