Mohammad Hamid Ansari was sworn in for the second term as Vice President today. President Pranab Mukherjee administered the oath of office ans secrecy to him at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Seventy-five year old former diplomat and UPA candidate Ansari defeated his NDA rival, Jaswant Singh in the Vice Presidential election held on the 7th of this month.
