Another round of pulse polio immunization programme was launched in the national capital on Sunday. In this phase ,around 10 lakh children upto the age group of 5 years were administerred anti polio drops. According to the official, over 8000 booths had been set up across the city to ensure its maximum reach. These booths were set up at all metro stations, bus stops, Railway Stations and other public places. More than 20 thousand health workers have been deployed at these booths to administereed drops to these children. Apart from that, health wokers will also undertake door to door visit in the remote areas in the next five days to administer poio drops to those children who were left during this drive.
