Another Nigerian athlete O Samuel winner of 100 meter men hurdle race has tested positive for a banned stimulant. It was announced today by President of the commonwealth games federation Mr. Michael Fennel while addressing press conference jointly with organising committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi. He said the same banned mehtyle hexalimine stimulant has been found in this second case from same country which was found Nigerian woman athlete, Oludamola Osayomi the winner of the Women’s 100m. He said athlete has been notified and hearing will be held in accordance with anti-doping rules of the games.About women Nigerian athlete Mr. Fennell said detail report of B sample is awaited and final decision will be taken after that.Referring encouraging performances of Indian athletes during games Mr. Kalmadi said government had provided sufficient money and resources in terms of foreign coaches and training for improvement of sports scenario in the country.
