Within a month of the Mayapuri radioactive leakage in New Delhi, a similar incident, although of a minor nature, took place at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. <br/>The leak contaminated the hands of a person who was carrying the material from one laboratory to another place. The matter was immediately brought to the notice of experts in the BARC and the employee, whose hands were affected, was isolated. A BARC official said that the employee underwent a thorough process of decontamination before being cleared for normal duties. <br/><br/>
