A close associate of key accused in the derailment of the Gyaneshwari Express on the 28th of last month, Bapi Mehto has been arrested from West Midnapore district of West Bengal. <br/><br/>The Jhargram Superintendent of Police Mr. Praveen Tripathi Said, Amiya Mahato was arrested from Komasoli village. His role in the derailment that led to 148 deaths is yet to be ascertained. Amiya is the seventh person to be arrested in the case, which is being investigated by the CBI.<br/><br/>The arrested accused was produced before the ACJM court in Jhargram on Thursday and was remanded to police custody for ten days.
