The annual plan outlay of the Union Territory of Puducherry for the year 2013-14 has been fixed at 2000 crore rupees. This was arrived at a meeting between the Deputy chairman of Planning Commission, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy in New Delhi yesterday. The plan size is thousand crore rupees less than the previous year. The planning Commission has totally agreed to the plan size proposal submitted by the Puducherry Government based on the decision taken at the State Planning Board meeting held recently.
