The annual pilgrimage of Shri Buda Amaranth Ji shrine situated in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir started today. The first batch of this pilgrimage that consisted of over 1200 yatris was flagged-off by the Jammu and Kashmir Minister of Health Shamlal Sharma at Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu this morning. The batch of yatris that included women and children left for the border district of Poonch in a fleet of 31 vehicles. The state administration has made elaborate arrangements for the yatris at the shrine as well as en-route the shrine. Thousands of devotees from across the country pay obeisance at the shrine every year during the yatra.
