A two-day annual conference of the State Minorities Commissions will begin in New Delhi from Tuesday .

The session will have through discussion on Police and Minorities. The topic was chosen following complaints related to the handling of cases concerning minorities by the police.

The State Minorities Commissions would speak about the conditions prevailing on the ground.

AIR correspondent reports some NGOs and human rights activists working for minority welfare would also air their views on the subject.
