Annu Raj Singh seals Olympic shooting berth

Annu Raj Singh has become the fifth Indian shooter to book a berth in next year's London Olympics after clinching the 10 metre Air Pistol silver medal at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, USA. The 27-year old shooter ended up second overall with a total score of 486.6 points, after scoring 97.6 points in the final. Singh, ranked 33rd in the world before the final yesterday, joins rifle shooters Ronjan Sodhi, Gagan Narang, Hari Om Singh and Sanjeev Rajput, to clinch a place for the London Olympics.More than 600 athletes coming from 70 countries are participating in the third ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup stage of the year.
