CPI(M) has claimed that social activist Anna Hazare skipped TMC’s rally in the national capital today as he understood the lack of credibility of the party against corruption.

In a tweet, the party leader, Sitaram Yechury said, the illusionary house of cards nurtured by the TMC, collapsed at Ramlila Maidan.

He also said, the Election Commission should take suo moto cognizance of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee’s wild accusations that she faces threat to her life from the Left party.

Another party leader, Brinda Karat alleged that Banerjee is using Hazare to push her personal political ambitions.
