Anna Hazare begins day-long hunger strike at Rajghat

Civil Rights activist Anna Hazare and his supporters today began a day-long hunger strike at Rajghat to protest the police action against Baba Ramdev's supporters during their agitation against corruption in Delhi on Saturday night.Tight security arrangements are in place around the Rajghat.Veteran Gandhian Anna Hazare today deplored police action against peaceful agitation of Baba Ramdev. Hazare with his supporters began a day-long fast against corruption and black money at Rajghat in New Delhi. The 71-year-old activist and other members of the committee drafting the anti-graft legislation with the government began their fast this morning. Earlier, Hazare had gone on a five-day fast in April that lead to the formation of joint committee to draft an effective Lok Pal Bill.
