Social Activist Anna Hazare began his three day fast amidst tight security, demanding a strong Lokpal. His key associates Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi are also sitting on fast with him at the MMRDA ground in Bandra in Suburban Mumbai.

Anna is suffering from a viral infection. Doctors on site are regularly monitoring Anna’s health and giving him medication.

While addressing the public at the MMRDA ground, Anna said that a strong Lokpal is needed to root out corruption. He urged people to fight against corruption.
