Ankita Raina has reached the semifinals of the 25,000 US Dollar ITF Women's tennis tournament in Uzbekistan. At Karshi today, continuing her dream run, the 20-year old Indian beat third seed Nigina Abdurakhimova of Uzbekistan in straight sets 6-4, 7-6 in the quarter-finals. Ankita will now face the winner of the other quarterfinal between Ksenia Palkina of Kyrgystan and sixth seed Veronika Kapshay of Ukraine tomorrow. Ranked World No. 455, Ankita had to qualify for the main draw.
