India's Ankita Raina has reached the quarterfinals of the 25,000 US Dollar ITF women's tennis tournament in Uzbekistan. In the event being held at Karshi, Ankita upset fifth seed Teodora Mircic of Serbia 1-6 6-1 6-3. She will now face third seed and local favourite Nigina Abdurakhimova.This is the first-ever appearance in the quarters for the 20-year-old Indian, who had to qualify for the main draw.
