Anjana Dhavalu Thamake clinches 3rd gold for India in Asian Youth Games

Anjana Dhavalu Thamake has clinched the third gold for India in the on-going second Asian Youth Games. At Nanjing, China, today, Thamake won the girl's 800 metres race clocking a personal best of two minutes 11.47 seconds. India also picked up a Silver when Rochelle Macfarlane Maria came second in girls' triple jump. India's medal haul in the Games has now gone up to 10. The tally includes three gold, three silver and four bronze. With just one day to go in the Games, India are at the Ninth spot in the medals table.
