Animal Welfare Board of India and other animal welfare bodies have moved Supreme Court challenging the new Act allowing Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu. The apex court listed the matter for Monday, all such petitions along with Centre's plea for withdrawing the 2016 notification allowing the bull taming sport.
