Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave and Minister of Science and Technology Dr Harsh Vardhan today flagged off science express train in Delhi to tour across the country. Mr Dave said, Government is aiming to create awareness about climate change in every Indian citizen and making it a people's Movement. He also said, every small preventive measure counts in curbing climate change and people have crucial role to play.<br/><br/>Dr Harsh Vardhan said, the science express is going to spread awareness on climate change and ingrain culture of science in people. He said government is considering a special train for farmers' welfare on the lines of Science express spreading awareness about best practices and modern methods in farming. <br/><br/>The Science express – climate change special train is provided with special coaches displaying energy conservation methods and best scientific techniques employed in conservation of energy. The train will tour throughout the country spreading awareness about climate change and preventive measures. The train has entered into Limca Book of records six times.
